Grief
Does Time Really Heal All Wounds?
"Give it time" is a phrase that we are comforted with after the passing of a loved one. But how much time should it take? If it's been more than a year since your loved one passed, and you feel as if you've made little progress, and you recognize that you're dealing with a few of these symptoms:
-
A sense of longing for the deceased person
-
Preoccupation with thoughts of your loved one
-
Feeling like a part of you died
-
Still in disbelief that the death happened
-
Avoidance of those things that remind you of them
-
Intense emotional pain
-
Isolating from others
-
Emotional numbness
-
Feelings that life is meaningless
-
Intense loneliness
If you find yourself identifying with several of these indicators, request to speak with us so an expert can explore this further with you.

Child Therapy
Being A Kid Today Is Harder Than 1985
Cyberbullying, pandemics, virtual school, or today's internet as a whole are just a few of the obstacles kids today are having to face. And because many of us don't have experience of these things as kids, it's hard to relate to what they're going through. Here at LifeSpring Counseling, we have a team of dedicated professionals who can help equip your child with the internal tools they need to overcome the challenges they are facing.
Let us know how we can help your child today!
Adolecent Therapy
Who Does Your Teen Talk Too?
Teenagers either internalize (meaning they don't vocalize what's going on in their lives) or they talk to those who are willing to listen. This can range from close friends to strangers online or something in between. What if your teen had someone they trusted and someone you trusted to talk about the hard things? That's where we can help. We have several counselors who are willing to build a professional relationship with your teen and instill in them the techniques and lifebuilding skills they need to make healthy decisions today and in the years to come.

Gambling
From Sports Gambling To Loot Chests
Sports gambling has been legalized in about every state in the U.S. People are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars in hopes of achieving success. Yet few rarely do. Xbox, PlayStation, and even mobile games are teaching children to gamble money by buying a chance to earn new armor, better in-game weapons, or power-ups to be more successful in games. This type of reward system can create behaviors in individuals that are so unhealthy that people are losing their homes, cars, relationships, and even their lives in search of reward. If someone you know is struggling in this area, have them reach out to us to schedule an appointment to explore how they can begin to rewire their brain in response to this rapidly growing pandemic.
